Daily Star 24th July 1995 - Nelson’s arm op just write
Nelson’s arm op just write

Sea hero Nelson became a warmer and more balanced person after losing his right arm in battle, say writing experts.
The right-handed British sea lord had the arm amputated at Santa Cruz on July 24, 1797.

Graphologist Olivia Graham - who studied the Battle of Trafalgar hero’s letters - said: “In his 30s he was an arrogant free spirit but after the op and learning to write with his left hand he was more at ease”
