Forge a Path to Your Passion

Explore. Dream. Discover

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your
sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Career Coaching programme. This aim of the programme is to take you on a journey from uncertainty about your current career and next steps, to having a clear vision of the right career for you with a plan to create it. The sessions have been meticulously designed, utilizing research on best practices in career evaluation and transition, and from my experience as a Master certified executive coach. The format is unique in that it draws on your innate resourcefulness to help you identify a viable exciting new career direction. Throughout the six-month programme, you’ll be guided through fun and engaging activities as well as profound guided meditations that will spark your creativity, and keep you motivated. The programme in summary:

Mark Twain’s quote inspires the three phases of the programme: EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.

According to research, those most satisfied and motivated by their work are in careers that reflect who they truly are; careers that draw on innate strengths and allow deeply held values to be honoured.

Hence the foundation of the programme, the EXPLORE phase, involves a thorough examination of who you really are. It is all about developing self-awareness of you as a person and your life as a whole. You will gain clarity around your values, life purpose, personal strengths, interests, and what you require to be happy and fulfilled.

Next, we explore your work preferences. These include key motivators, favourite skills, professional strengths, work accomplishments, preferred environment, and ideal working day.

The key information elicited during the EXPLORE phase is captured on two forms: the Life Star and Work Star. When complete, these two Stars provide a richly coloured snapshot of who you are and what you need in your life. This information then acts as an acid test for evaluating career ideas and opportunities later. In parallel, you open an Ideas Bank to capture any career possibilities that come up during the early weeks of the programme, however mild or wild.

The following stage DREAM is a highly creative part of the programme when potential career choices are generated. It is called DREAM because the aim is to be expansive, not constrained by traditional notions of what’s feasible. We then investigate the most appealing ideas further before narrowing down to one to three strong possibilities.

DISCOVER is the point at which short-list possibilities are explored in detail before selecting one to investigate in depth. We then use a creative and empowering process to transform your vision for an exciting career that is right for you, into a soundly based action plan to make it a reality.

I’d be excited to help you create an inspirational and motivating next stage in your professional life and look forward to collaborating with you. For a no-obligation conversation to discover more, please contact Olivia.

What Clients Say

I am extremely grateful to Olivia for her help with my career and my lifestyle. I arrived at the start unhappy with my job and unsatisfied with my work and social life balance. I left with the confidence of knowing what career area I was going to get into and far happier in my general lifestyle. Crucially, I learnt where my talents lie, which previously were not being used. Also, I learnt how to get things done in a structured manner.
