Olivia has considerable knowledge of the Private Sector, having run her own consultancy advising corporate clients on selection and development, as well as the Public Sector through coaching Senior Civil Servants (SCS) and assessing top talent across a number of Government departments.
In addition to degrees in psychology (BA Hons. Durham) and occupational psychology (MSc. Cardiff) gained as a mature student, and many years of practical experience, Olivia is a member of several professional bodies including: The International Coach Federation; The Association of Business Psychologists; Association for Coaching; and The British Psychological Society's Special Group in Coaching Psychology.
Olivia is the creator of the unique "Power Hour" methodology - a single, highly intensive solution-focused discussion when clients faced with obstacles are helped to put problems into perspective and generate optimal solutions to pressing issues.
Olivia also coaches on leadership programmes at London Business School and the National School of Government.
Lori Shook has been coaching professionally for over 12 years. Excelling at coaching culturally diverse teams, Lori is in high demand internationally, working with a wide variety of clients from accountants to engineers. Lori's international corporate clients include The Prudential, Capgemini, Mercuri Urval, and IBM.
Lori has been on the faculty of The Coaches Training Institute ( CTI ) for over ten years. As a senior course leader for CTI she has trained and supervised over 4000 coaches from over 30 countries. She also trains consultants, employees, managers and executives to use and integrate coaching skills and tools in their daily work.
Lori holds The International Coach Federation's prestigious designation Master Certified Coach, and is a certified professional coach with the Coach Training Institute, and Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching.
Prior to her move into coaching Lori worked as an acoustics engineer for the US Navy for more than ten years.
Dr Brian Baxter has over 25 years worldwide executive coaching experience in finance, banking, pharmaceutical, FMCG and media-based organisations. He specialises in helping Executive Board members and senior managers develop their personal leadership effectiveness.
Brian was Senior Partner at Kiddy and Partners, organisation consultants, during the 1990’s. Earlier in his career he was a consultant and manager at Arthur Andersen. He then worked for British Airways, planning a major strategic organisation restructuring programme, and WS Atkins Group where he carried out large-scale project-management roles for Europe and the Middle East.
A Chartered Occupational Psychologist with a PhD in Organisation Behaviour, Brian is Visiting Fellow to a number of British Universities, including Warwick University Business School. He was Founder-Chairman of the Association of Business Psychologists.
His publications include a book on the subject of alienation from work, and various articles on the subject of post-modern thinking, as it applies to organisations.
Joanna Howard is a coach, consultant and respected author. She specialises in organisational transitions, personal development and self-managed learning. With an early background in education, she has particular insights into the ways that managers learn, and how they manage transitions effectively. Jo has coached and/or mentored senior managers and Chief Executives from a variety of organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors. She works both face-to-face and remotely, providing telephone coaching and online support where appropriate.
Jo was Course Director and tutor at Roffey Park Management Institute/University of Sussex for the MBA in Applied General Management using Self-Managed Learning. Her publications include Managing More with Less: Handling Multiple Priorities, Butterworth Heinemann 1998; Corporate Culture and Ethics inBusiness - the essential fact file, ICSA 1997; and Coaching and Mentoring in the FT Handbook of Management, FT 1996.
Among the projects Jo has been involved with are research projects in Managing Creative Teams and Managing in the Inner City; a long-term project on New Managerial Skills taking cross-cultural differences into account for an international pharmaceutical company; and designing and facilitating courses on Interpersonal Relationships, Personal Power and Effectiveness in Organisations.
